ILP Day 2014
The first ILP Day took place on March 13, 2014 in Zamansky Tower at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie and brought together about 60 scientists from ILP member laboratories. This day was mainly dedicated to present research highlights, scientific achievements driven by Lagrange Fellows, and to discuss new directions and research priorities of the ILP within the next few months.
This day perfectly represented the broad scope of ILP activities with talks from the representatives of member labs and from the Lagrange Fellows. It clearly appears that the ILP fields of interest seek to answer the Big Questions at the intersection of astrophysics, cosmology, and particule physics: from quantum gravity to the large scale structure of the Universe.
Due to the transversal activities of ILP researchers, two thematic days will be organized within the next few months upon dark matter (in June) and then upon statistical methodology - inference from large and/or complex data sets. More information soon!
